Criterion 2: Limits on Design Flexibility
PartL2A describes minimum requirements for the following elements/systems
external fabric individual and area weighted U values
Heating (and cooling if appropriate) plant efficiencies and controls
Pipework and ductwork insulation
lighting efficiencies
light switching
metering
l-e-s-s can provide you with calculations of U values and advise on specific requirements of other elements/systems. Where you provide us data we will check whether an element/system with such a specification is compliant, where data is not provided we will identify the minimum specification for that type of element/equipment. These checks are necessary in preparing data for the CO2 calculation and are therefore done free of charge if we are assessing Criterion 1 for you.
